Marambá is the psychedelic trance project of João Alexandre, a brazilian musician also responsible for the projects Shaumbra (with Tyamat), Woruban (with Necropsycho), Atmos Moon (Ambient with Necropsycho) and Namu (solo Psychill/Ambient project). His involvement with music started with classical guitar in 2003 when he acquired the basics of harmony and rythmic. After his first contact with electronic music and working in many festivals around Brazil for over a decade, music production became his passion. Nowadays, the project explores the fusion of organic instruments and sounds recorded in brazilian biomas. With the fusion between classical music and organic sounds, Marambá brings inovations blending the night and shamanic aspect of Darkpsy to the melodic colours of Hitech.
